Steve Hullfish on episode 462
Steve Hullfish is a film editor and has also interviewed many of the world’s top film editors about the craft. He shares his story in Art of the Cut, a must-read for anyone editing films. Recently, he spent time with my students in digital filmmaking talking about workflow and editing and the craft of filmmaking. Then, he took the time to condense down some of the biggest takeaways from the book for those making film in the K12 classroom in this podcast. If you’re making film, this is a must listen from someone who is not only working in the business but also has instructed many about the “Art of the Cut.”‘
